WHO WE ARE.
FPH is a horse training and riding lesson team composed of Jay Finn and Willow Kearns. They routinely attend a variety of shows ranging from schooling shows for clients looking to step into the show pen up through world shows.
Jay Finn specializes in Reined Cow horse and Reining. He has traveled around the United States riding with some of the top professionals to constantly improve his program. He enjoys starting horses for their futurity careers and taking them to their first shows up through their derby years. As a coach he is able to instill the confidence and knowledge needed for non pro, novice, and youth clients to succeed in the show pen. He has trained, shown, and coached many NRHA, NRCHA, and NCHA money earners.
As a colt starter he is able to put a solid foundation on a horse that will allow them to succeed in whatever their chosen discipline may be. He prides himself for the ability to produce horses sound in body and mind.
Jay also spent time working for and studying under Josh Lyons of Lyons Legacy. There he developed a forte for hosting clinics, learning how to teach and coach all levels of horses and riders and help them achieve their goals.

Willow Kearns began formal riding lessons at age 4. Her passion for horses only grew and she trained and competed throughout her youth. Willow attended Murray State University and rode for their IHSA Stockseat and Huntseat Equestrian Teams for four years, the latter of which she was the captain of for two years. During this time she was awarded multiple Versatility Awards from MSU’s Horseman Association for simultaneous competitiveness in multiple disciplines. After graduation Willow studied under Irish international show jumper Harriet McCord for a period of time before beginning her solo professional career. She continues to train and compete in a variety of disciplines including hunters, jumpers, ranch events, and more.
Willow has a passion for teaching, starting with first time and beginner riders up through those looking to actively compete. With a background and show experience in many disciplines, Willow is able to to advance her students in any direction they choose.
